What are the characteristics of a positive personality?

Positive psychologists have studied this and come up with some results to create a sort of blue print for what a positive personality is made from.

Here is a partial character profile of the positive personality:

• Creativity – someone who thinks up novel and productive ways of doing things
• Curiosity – displays a fascination with subjects
• Open mindedness – doesn’t jump to conclusions
• Love of learning – loves to learn new things
• Wisdom – makes sense of the world
• Bravery – does not avoid challenges
• Persistence – if a project is started then it is finished
• Honesty – deals with oneself and others in an honest way
• Vitality – has a zest for life
• Love – loves and is loved
• Kindness – is kind and generous to others
• Social Intelligence – Understands  other people and interacts with them in a friendly way
• Teamwork -  works well in a team
• Fairness – treats people with fairness and justice
• Leadership – is capable of leading and motivating a group
• Forgiveness – is willing to forgive those who have done wrong
• Modesty – Does not go around bragging about achievements
• Beauty – appreciates beauty and excellence
• Gratitude – is thankful for the good things that happen
• Optimism – is optimistic about the future
• Humor – has a sense of humor and playfulness
• Spirituality – knows how he/she fits within the larger scheme of things
